Join our bustling San Francisco, California distribution hub as a Picker/Packer. In this vital role, you will be at the forefront of fulfilling customer orders with speed and precision. Your responsibilities will include accurately locating items within the warehouse, carefully packing them for shipment, and ensuring all orders are processed correctly. This position requires a high level of focus, efficiency, and attention to detail. You will work closely with other team members to meet daily order fulfillment targets and contribute to the overall success of our logistics operations. The ideal candidate is energetic, organized, and committed to maintaining a safe and productive work environment. Familiarity with warehouse environments and picking systems is advantageous.
Responsibilities:
- Read and understand pick lists and order forms accurately.
- Locate and retrieve specified items from warehouse shelves.
- Inspect items for defects or damage before packing.
- Pack items securely and appropriately for shipping, using various packaging materials.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety protocols and wear required PPE .
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and dexterity.
- Ability to perform tasks involving moderate physical activity, including Lifting up to 40 pounds.
- Strong understanding of warehouse Logistics and order fulfillment processes.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Willingness to follow all Safety guidelines and utilize PPE as instructed.
