We are hiring a dedicated Picker/Packer for our Phoenix, Arizona location. This position is a vital part of our logistics and order fulfillment process, responsible for accurately selecting and preparing customer orders for shipment. You will be responsible for locating items in the warehouse, picking them accurately according to order sheets, and carefully packing them to ensure they arrive safely at their destination. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, efficient, and committed to maintaining a high level of accuracy. You will work in a fast-paced environment and must be able to stand for extended periods and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity. Adherence to all safety procedures, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and proper lifting techniques, is mandatory. Experience with RF scanners is a plus. - Reading and interpreting order pick lists accurately.
- Locating and retrieving specified items from warehouse shelves.
- Verifying item accuracy and quantities before packing.
- Packing items securely using appropriate materials to prevent damage during transit.
- Applying shipping labels and preparing packages for dispatch.
- Maintaining a clean and organized workstation and work area.
- Assisting with inventory counts as needed.
- Operating basic warehouse equipment safely, such as pallet jacks.
- Following all company safety policies and procedures.
- Practicing safe lifting techniques when handling items.
