We are seeking an experienced Inventory Control Specialist for our Cincinnati, Ohio location. This role is vital for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory, directly impacting our logistics and operational efficiency. You will be responsible for managing stock levels, conducting cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and implementing procedures to minimize loss and ensure product availability. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of inventory management systems and principles, excellent analytical skills, and meticulous attention to detail. You will work closely with warehouse associates and management to ensure smooth operations. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining a highly organized and efficient stockroom. Ensuring a safe work environment by following all safety guidelines, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is a key responsibility. - Performing regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies promptly.
- Managing and organizing warehouse stock to ensure optimal placement and accessibility.
- Implementing and enforcing inventory control procedures and policies.
- Monitoring stock levels and identifying potential shortages or overages.
- Tracking the movement of goods and materials throughout the facility.
- Generating inventory reports and analyzing data for management.
- Ensuring the accuracy of inventory records in the WMS.
- Assisting with the receiving and put-away processes to maintain inventory integrity.
- Promoting a culture of safety and adherence to all safety regulations, including appropriate lifting practices.
