We are hiring a skilled Forklift Operator for our busy distribution center in Nashville, Tennessee. In this essential role, you will operate forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve materials efficiently and safely. Responsibilities include loading and unloading trucks, transporting goods to and from designated storage areas, and ensuring accurate inventory placement. Safety is our utmost priority, and you must strictly adhere to all operating procedures, traffic rules within the warehouse, and company Safety guidelines. A valid forklift certification is required. This role demands precision, good spatial awareness, and the ability to handle materials that may require significant Lifting. We provide all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and expect it to be worn at all times. Experience with various types of forklifts and a solid understanding of warehouse logistics are essential. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move inventory.
- Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers.
- Transport materials to and from storage and production areas.
- Perform pre-operation checks and basic maintenance on forklifts.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts.
- Follow all Safety regulations, including traffic rules within the facility.
- Wear and maintain all required PPE.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.
