This role is crucial for ensuring that our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. You will be responsible for picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment, maintaining a high level of accuracy and efficiency. This position requires individuals who are detail-oriented, able to work independently or as part of a team, and committed to upholding our quality standards. A good understanding of warehouse procedures and a proactive approach to problem-solving are beneficial. You will work closely with our logistics team to ensure smooth fulfillment processes. Strict adherence to **PPE** and **safety** guidelines is mandatory, and the role involves significant **Lifting**.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order tickets.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Prepare orders for shipping, including labeling and documentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with inventory management tasks as needed.
- Operate hand trucks and pallet jacks for moving goods.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including strict adherence to safety regulations and the proper use of **PPE**.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the fulfillment and logistics process.
- Perform physical tasks including frequent **Lifting** of items up to 50 lbs.
- Identify and report any damaged goods or discrepancies.
- Support other warehouse functions as directed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or fulfillment environment preferred.
- Ability to read and understand order tickets accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of warehouse safety protocols and **PPE**.
- Physically capable of standing for extended periods and performing **Lifting** tasks.
- Familiarity with logistics and shipping processes is a plus.
- Team player with good communication skills.
