Join our fast-paced warehouse team in Virginia Beach, Virginia, as a Picker/Packer! We are looking for motivated individuals to accurately and efficiently pick customer orders and prepare them for shipment. This role is fundamental to our Logistics operations, ensuring that our customers receive the right products on time. You will be responsible for navigating the warehouse, using scanning equipment, and meticulously packing items to ensure they arrive safely. A strong attention to detail, a sense of urgency, and a commitment to Safety are essential. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners and pick lists.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Label packages for shipment according to carrier requirements.
- Assist with receiving and stocking of incoming inventory as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to all Safety guidelines.
- Properly use and maintain all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors immediately.
- Contribute to team goals by working collaboratively and efficiently.
- Participate in regular inventory counts.
This position requires the ability to stand and walk for extended periods, as well as the dexterity to handle small and large items. Frequent lifting of up to 40 pounds is expected. Previous experience in a warehouse or Logistics role is a plus but not required. We provide comprehensive training on all aspects of the job, including Safety protocols.
