Boeing is committed to fostering a culture based on our core values of safety, quality and integrity.At Boeing, our Electrical Engineers develop, and test electronic and electrical system requirements using analytical and technical skills, translate requirements into system architectures and modify hardware and software designs for Boeing aircraft, unmanned vehicles and much more.These Capability Centers support the following programs:Precision Engagement Systems (PES) including Direct Attack weapons (JDAM, SDB, MOP, HAAWC and associated derivatives)Boeing Global Services including Support Equipment, Government Training Engineering, and US Air Force Programs Modification, Sustainment, and Product SupportBoeing Test and EvaluationPosition Responsibilities: Support senior engineers in integrating Boeing weapons with military aircraftAssist with lab, ground, and flight test activitiesSupport development of test plans, procedures, data processing, and reportsAssist in developing electronic architecture and detailed specifications for electronic productsHelp create detailed designs consistent with requirements and specificationsConduct testing and analysis to support design effortsGather data for technical performance measuresProvide engineering support throughout the product lifecycleAssist with trade studies and literature research for future product designsWork under close supervisionBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer scienceThis position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. A final U.S. Secret or Top-Secret Clearance Post-Start is requiredExperience within a design/build or test teamExperience creating, developing, and/or maintaining engineering processesExperience with electronic/electrical system designs or test based on requirementsBasic knowledge of data structures, system design, and architectureExperience using good communication, analytical, and organizational skills and being able to work in a team environmentWillingness to travel up to 50% timePreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Active U.S. Security ClearanceInternship or co-op experience in design and analysis engineering or related engineering roles1+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experienceExperience testing and troubleshooting softwareExperience with testing electronic systemsFamiliarity with serial data communications standards such as MIL-STD-1553Drug Free Workplace:Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.Pay & Benefits:At Boeing, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent.
