You can expect technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, ReactJs, PostgresDB, MongoDB, Redis, Docker, Consul, RabbitMQ, Elasticsearch, Maven, Gradle, Git, Jenkins, paired with Domain-Driven Design and microservice structures brought into production using CI/CD.

Join our team as a (Junior) Java Software Engineer (m/f/d) at CHECK24 Vergleichsportal Geldanlage GmbH and take an active role in building highly scalable and robust investment platform. You will work in a small, international, feature-based team, where you will rely on your skills, experience, and passion for learning to grow and develop our investment platform.

Your Qualifications
Passion for software development
Openness for experimenting and discussing new solutions within the team
Proficiency in API design principles, standards, and best practices
Familiarity with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, and related tools like
JDBC, Spring Data JDBC, or similar technologies
Knowledge in build and deployment tools and processes including GIT, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, and Docker
Enjoy working in a team with a strong goal oriented discussion culture
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
Open mindset, desire to continuously develop yourself and learn new
technologies
Your Responsibilities
Design, implement and continue to develop innovative features for our investment platform
Collaborate with third-party service providers (banks, identification, communication) to seamlessly integrate their services into our platform
Contribute to the design and refinement of our event-driven microservices architecture
Work directly with product managers in an agile work environment
Work in collaboration with other product-focused teams to build innovative
customer experiences
Take full ownership of the systems you develop as part of small, cross-
functional teams, ensuring their success and evolution over time
