Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will assist attorneys across our practice areas, including personal injury, family law, general litigation, and more. This role involves supporting legal research, document management, case preparation, and administrative tasks to ensure efficient case handling and compliance with legal standards. The Paralegal will play a vital role in managing complex projects and maintaining organized legal workflows within a fast-paced law office environment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other legal research tools to support case development.
  • Assist with document review, drafting legal documents, contracts, and pleadings with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Manage case files using document management systems such as iManage and PCLaw; ensure proper filing and organization of all case-related materials.
  • Support litigation processes by preparing discovery documents, coordinating depositions, and assisting with trial preparation.
  • Perform data entry and maintain detailed records of case activities, deadlines, and court filings.
  • Conduct interviews with clients or witnesses as needed to gather relevant information for cases involving personal injury law, workers' compensation law, or landlord-tenant disputes.
  • Provide executive administrative support including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and handling correspondence with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Proofread legal documents for accuracy; assist with transcription tasks to ensure clarity in legal communication.
  • Support attorneys in various practice areas such as estate planning, tribal law & regulations, patent law, securities law, immigration law, UCC law, and family law.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information while adhering to firm policies and procedures.

Skills

  • Proven experience as a paralegal with familiarity in multiple practice areas including estate planning, environmental law, family law, litigation, patent law, securities law, tribal law & regulations, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, landlord-tenant law, and immigration law.
  • Strong research skills utilizing Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other legal research platforms.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Proficiency in legal case management systems such as iManage and PCLaw; experience with document review and management is essential.
  • Exceptional writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence; proofreading accuracy is critical.
  • Effective communication skills including phone etiquette and client interviewing techniques.
  • Ability to handle administrative tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in document management systems and data entry processes.
  • Knowledge of legal administrative experience combined with clerical expertise such as filing and record keeping.
  • Strong organizational abilities complemented by excellent time management skills to support litigation efforts or project management initiatives within the firm. Pay: $49, $60,143.73 per year
