About This Role

The Project Manager is tasked with successfully delivering construction services for clients and key relationships. Project Managers work diligently to meet and exceed customer expectations, develop, and grow referral relationships, effectively lead & support your team, and live & breathe the company's CORE Values.

What You Will Do

  • Plan and supervise a wide range of construction projects from start to finish and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met
  • Organize and oversee construction operations and ensure they are completed in a timely and efficient manner
  • Ensure all projects are delivered on time according to requirements and without exceeding budget
  • Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment, and materials) from start to finish
  • Acquire equipment and materials
  • Coordinate a team of professionals
  • Utilize sub-contractors and other staff and allocate responsibilities
  • Supervise the work of laborers and provide guidance when needed
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects etc. to determine the specifications of the project
  • Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements
  • Obtain permits and licenses from appropriate authorities
  • Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports on each project
  • Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues
  • Exceed GreenTec's communication standards
  • Take ownership of all projects
  • Drive a company vehicle

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Overseeing recon staff including vendors and subcontractors

Physical Demands

  • Prolonged periods of sitting in vehicles and at a desk
  • Must be able to lift at least 15 pounds at a time
  • Prolonged periods of exposure to noise created by power tools, equipment, and heavy machinery
  • Exposure to standard work site environments and some confined spaces

Requirements & Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Construction project management experience: 3+ years
  • Ability to stand; walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel – reach with hands & arms and talk or hear
  • Pass a background check & drug test
  • A valid driver's license
  • Own personal transportation (not for company use)
