Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN)
to join our dedicated clinical team Since 2016, Saint Therese of Woodbury has been filled with social vibrancy, distinctive living spaces and a continuum of care blended to create a unique senior living experience. We offer 216 independent, assisted living and memory care apartments; and 56 skilled and transitional care units.

A Licensed Practical Nurse Is Responsible For

• Providing direct care to residents under individual plans of care, administering care and medications per doctor's orders.
• Administer medications and/or treatment in accordance with physician's orders and monitors for effectiveness/response.
• Document resident care using charting software.
• Notify Nurse Manager, attending physicians, and family members of significant changes in a resident's condition, and take follow-up action, as necessary.
• Work to coordinate, oversee, and provide guidance to NARs,
• Display a positive attitude and respect for all residents, families, and staff.

Positions available include working every other weekend and every other holiday:

• 2:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m. (24 hours per two-week pay period) - Sign on Bonus of $2,500
• 2:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m. (72 hours per two-week pay period) - Sign on Bonus of $5,000

Qualifications

• Degree obtained from an accredited nursing program.
• Must be in good standing with the Minnesota Board of Nursing and have a current MN LPN license.
• Minimum of one-year previous experience as a nurse is required.

Special Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• Demonstrated knowledge of state and federal regulations
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Proven history of good judgement and integrity
• High level of commitment to compassionate customer service­
• Ability to meet the physical demands of position, including lifting over 50 lbs. while transferring a resident.
• CPR Certification
