Job References and Drug Screen RequiredJob Description We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Consultant for a fully onsite role in North Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience supporting enterprise DevOps environments, automating deployments, and working with modern containerization and orchestration tools. This consultant will collaborate closely with development, infrastructure, and operations teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines, improve automation, and ensure system stability and reliability.Responsibilities

Support and enhance CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps

Manage containerized applications using Open Containers and OpenShift

Develop automation scripts using Shell and/or Python

Implement configuration management and automation using Ansible

Utilize Argo CD for GitOps-based deployment workflows

Monitor and optimize application and system performance using Dynatrace

Troubleshoot deployment issues and support production operations

Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an onsite environment

Ensure best practices in DevOps, automation and cloud operations.

Must-Have Skills

Azure DevOps

Open Containers

OpenShift

Shell and/or Python scripting

Ansible Automation

Argo CD

Dynatrace

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in e-commerce or high-availability environments

Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

Ability to work independently in a fully onsite setup

Excellent communication and teamwork skills
