Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Shop Manager to lead our retail store operations with enthusiasm and precision. Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise all store operations, including sales, customer service, inventory control, and staff management.
  • Recruit, interview, train, and develop team members to ensure high performance and engagement.
  • Manage payroll, scheduling, and shift management to optimize store coverage and efficiency.
  • Oversee merchandising, pricing strategies, and promotional activities to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate bookkeeping, cash handling procedures, and POS (Point of Sale) system operations.
  • Monitor inventory levels, conduct stock audits, and coordinate purchasing to prevent shortages or overstocking.
  • Implement effective marketing initiatives to attract new customers and retain existing ones.

Skills

  • Strong leadership abilities with proven supervising experience in retail or grocery stores.
  • Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly advantageous.
  • Skilled in negotiation, purchasing, and inventory management to drive profitability.
  • Proficient in retail math, budgeting, bookkeeping, and cash handling procedures.
  • Experience with POS systems, cashiering, and retail sales techniques.
  • Ability to train staff on customer service excellence and store policies.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of retail marketing strategies and merchandising best practices.
  • Effective time management skills with a focus on shift management and team coordination.
