Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to lead our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of food service operations, and a passion for hospitality. This role involves overseeing daily restaurant activities, managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. Prior experience in both casual and fine dining environments, as well as familiarity with POS systems like Aloha and Micros, will be highly valued. The Restaurant Manager will play a key role in fostering a positive work environment while ensuring operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, service delivery, and cleanliness standards
  • Manage staff scheduling, training, and development to ensure efficient team performance
  • Supervise front-of-house and kitchen staff to maintain high-quality food service and customer satisfaction
  • Handle cash management, POS transactions (Aloha POS, Micros POS), and inventory control
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards
  • Monitor restaurant performance metrics and implement strategies for continuous improvement
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff on food production, menu updates, and catering events
  • Manage shift transitions smoothly to maintain operational flow during busy hours
  • Conduct interviews and participate in hiring processes to build a skilled team
  • Lead efforts in budgeting, cost control, and resource allocation to maximize profitability
  • Uphold hospitality standards by fostering a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike

Experience

  • Proven management experience within the food industry, particularly in quick service & fast food or casual dining settings
  • Extensive background in food service management, including supervising teams and managing restaurant operations
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is preferred
  • Experience with inventory control, budgeting, and food safety practices
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with a track record of staff training & development and team management
  • Previous roles in hospitality management or hotel experience are advantageous
  • Strong understanding of culinary operations, food handling, and kitchen management principles
  • Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs effectively
  • Experience in supervising shifts, managing food production processes, and overseeing catering or banquet services is desirable

Pay: $55, $66,826.53 per year
