Full-time and part-time available.

As a pizza maker, you are part of the engine that powers this establishment, the person who actually makes the pizza Your position is the most intimate with the product being sold, as hands on work will never escape you in our kitchen. Your duties in the kitchen are plentiful as you will have non-stop tasks that you will be doing by yourself and as part of a team.

Pizza makers are responsible for prep work, food preparation, cleaning, and customer service including tasks such as; making dough and sauce, shredding cheese, chopping/slicing vegetables, hand stretching dough, making sandwiches, preparing salads, running a deck/conveyor oven, stocking, washing dishes, sweeping, mopping, taking customers' orders, and performing many other related and reasonable tasks.

Responsibilities:

· Prepare food in a timely manner to recipe specification

· Maintain cleanliness of kitchen

· Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies

· Ensure temperature safety of food

· Chop vegetables, prepare sauces, and other food preparation.

· Rotate product for freshness while minimizing waste

· Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff

· Stock inventory

At a minimum, all pizza makers must meet the following requirements:

· Food Handlers Certification

· Can lift 50 lbs. from the ground and over their head repeatedly

· Work with both hands to prepare food including hand stretching pizza, oven tending, and dough ball rolling

· Able to meet all scheduling commitments

· Stand for long periods of time

· Work in a hot, humid environment

· Normal daily duties will require you to stoop, bend, reach, crouch, sit, walk, and pull

· Strong attention to detail

· 1 year experience in a commercial kitchen preferred

Pay: $ $17.00 per hour
