Job Details Job Location: Manchester - Manchester, NH 03104 Salary Range: $84, $88,000.00 Salary/year

The Systems Administrator is a hands-on role responsible for the management, support, and ongoing improvement of the credit union's core infrastructure systems across multiple locations. The role plays a key part in ensuring the security, reliability, and performance of infrastructure and network services while providing responsive technical support to end users in a regulated credit union environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


  1. Administer and support core infrastructure systems including Active Directory, network components, identity services, virtualization platforms, servers, and supporting services.
  2. Perform routine system maintenance including patching, updates, monitoring, backups, and recovery testing using established change practices.
  3. Support Microsoft-based environments including Windows Server and Microsoft 365 / Entra ID.
  4. Maintain accurate infrastructure and network documentation, including configurations, procedures, and diagrams.
  5. Support disaster recovery and business continuity activities through execution of backups, restores, and testing.
  6. Administer and support LAN, WAN, VPN, wireless, and internet connectivity across branch and office locations.
  7. Troubleshoot network performance and connectivity issues and coordinate with vendors as needed.
  8. Implement and support infrastructure and security controls related to access management, system hardening, logging, and monitoring.
  9. Assist with vulnerability remediation, incident response, and internal reviews as directed.
  10. Support regulatory and compliance needs by maintaining secure configurations and providing technical documentation when requested.
  11. Maintain strict confidentiality of member, employee, and institutional information.
  12. Provide technical support for infrastructure, systems, and network-related issues.
  13. Participate in an after-hours on-call rotation for critical incidents and outages.

Qualifications

  1. 3+ years of experience in systems, infrastructure, or network administration.
  2. Hands-on experience with Active Directory and Windows-based infrastructure.
  3. Experience with Microsoft 365, including Entra ID and Exchange.
  4. Experience supporting virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, or equivalent).
  5. Familiarity with Cisco/Meraki network equipment.
  6. Working knowledge of networking fundamentals including DNS, DHCP, VPNs, ACLs, NPS, routing, and switching.
  7. Experience supporting enterprise backup, monitoring, or endpoint management solutions.
  8. Experience working in a security-sensitive or availability-critical environment.
  9. Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
  10. Prior experience in a financial institution or other regulated industry a plus.

PHYSICAL CONSIDERATIONS:


  1. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  2. Ability to climb ladders and work in network closets.
  3. Ability to work extended hours during outages, maintenance windows, or incident response.
