Veterinary Technician

Responsibilities:

• Assist veterinarians in providing medical care to animals

• Perform routine procedures such as vaccinations, blood draws, and dental cleanings

• Monitor and record vital signs of animals during procedures and treatments

• Prepare and administer medications as directed by veterinarians

• Take X-rays

• Provide nursing care to hospitalized animals

• Clean and maintain examination rooms and equipment

• Educate pet owners on proper animal care and treatment

Qualifications:

• Certification or degree in veterinary technology or equivalent experience

• Experience in animal care or veterinary setting preferred

• Knowledge of veterinary terminology and procedures

• Proficient in animal handling and restraint techniques

• Familiarity with X-ray equipment and techniques

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

• Ability to work well in a team environment
