The Master Data Specialist ensures accurate and reliable master data in SAP and related systems for Klüber Lubrication North America. This role supports key business operations by ensuring high-quality master data. It focuses on maintaining data integrity, improving data governance practices, and collaborating with both local and global teams to align data standards and processes.
MASTER DATA SPECIALIST
Responsibilities
- Maintain accuracy and completeness of master data across systems (e.g., materials, vendors, customers).
- Perform regular audits to validate data integrity and resolve discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and company policies.
- Apply global master data guidelines within the region to help standardize and harmonize data models across the organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data processes and promote best practices.
- Partner with international teams to support global MDM projects and initiatives.
- Provide training and support to end-users on master data procedures and governance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in a technical, data management or business field.
- 2+ years of experience in data entry, data coordination, or data management of ERP systems (SAP preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Word) and database management.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a global environment.
- Experience in process analysis and project management is preferred.
