Delivery Driver

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods to our customers. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a variety of vehicles including box trucks, vans, and tractor-trailers
- Load and unload goods using equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and hand trucks
- Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the dispatcher
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to customers
- Verify the contents of each delivery against shipping documents
- Collect payments from customers as needed
- Communicate any issues or delays with the dispatcher and customers
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance

Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks such as loading and unloading
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and colleagues
- Familiarity with using GPS devices for navigation
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately
- Monday- Friday 7:30-4:30 No weekends.
