Electrical Apprentice

Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Apprentice Electrician to join our team. This position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the electrical trade while working under the supervision of experienced electricians. The Apprentice Electrician will assist in various electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks across industrial and commercial settings.

Duties

• Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
• Work with both high voltage and low voltage systems as required.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project requirements.
• Conduct tests on electrical systems using an ohmmeter and other testing equipment to ensure functionality.
• Collaborate with team members on construction sites to ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC).
• Participate in frame carpentry tasks as needed to support electrical installations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.

Skills

• Previous experience as an electrician in residential, commercial and/or industrial is preferred.
• Familiarity with electrical systems, including high voltage and low voltage applications.
• Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment such as ohmmeters.
• Strong understanding of construction site practices and safety regulations.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documents accurately.
• Basic knowledge of NEC standards is a plus.
• Willingness to learn from experienced electricians and take direction effectively.
