Location: Boise HQ (non - remote)

Department: Marketing

Position: Hourly - Non/ Exempt

Pay Range: $ $32.00 / hr

The Marketing Coordinator is an integral role on our marketing team and supports in a wide range of matters from acting as a Project Manager for the creative team, coordinating with stores on in-store signage and campaigns, supporting social media, reporting spends and managing department email inboxes including internal communications. All our positions uphold our principles of value, quality, and design. This role is at our Boise, ID headquarters and this a non-remote position.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Support and project manage all marketing, eCommerce and creative team members to successfully deliver on large and smaller scale projects, promotions, seek approvals from stakeholders and address any bottlenecks.
  • Utilize tools to support communication and accountability in the team including managing department spreadsheets, promotional calendars, and Trello boards, tracking due/action dates, keeping on top of deadline reminders for internal and external collaborators.
  • Organize reoccurring meetings with Marketing, Creative, eCommerce and advertising agencies with occasional executive attendance to achieve marketing and company objectives.
  • Seek and proactively manage marketing approvals as needed with Buying & Merchandising, Legal and Executive teams promptly and efficiently.
  • Partner with retail locations for all store signage needs for current and new stores in addition to vendor management.
  • Coordinate and strengthen email, social media campaigns to meet deadlines and launch dates for the following:
  • Weekly, monthly and promotional based email companies including direction and product selection. Report impact and results in a timely manner.
  • Help plan social media posts with the Creative team and Web Merchandisers to enhance engagement and build and maintain and Influencer program.
  • Respond and manage creative requests and eCommerce emails including marketing and internal communications related to heighten communication and internal communication companywide and across +50 locations.
  • Partner with Graphic Designers, Copywriter, eCommerce, Retail Operations, Buying & Merchandising, Visual Merchandising, Accounting and other cross functional teams on a variety of projects and promotions.
  • Collect and report all advertising and marketing spend, report and track marketing budget, handle invoicing and track specific spend per campaign.
  • Handle all Internal Communications that include and are not limited to:
  • Managing the newsletter team and ensure delivery every month.
  • Support new stores openings by community outreach to Chambers of Commerce and other local municipalities for Soft and Grand Openings.
  • Write and send all departmental updates and executive communications from HQ to all +50 locations companywide.
  • Support the Creative team with regular shipments of collateral to retail stores, and any other needs, including supporting off-site photo shoots.
  • Perform other duties or special projects when assigned.

Who You Are

  • Strong understanding on marketing and advertising principles and solid time-management, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail.
  • Able to work autonomously with initiative and good judgment.
  • Have an interest and passion for furniture and home décor.
  • Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office and project management software.
  • Comfortable maintaining and updating social media platforms.
  • Experience with Google Analytics and email marketing is a plus.
  • Ability to review & interpret marketing data.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers.
  • Prolonged sitting, standing, moderate reaching and occasional lifting up to 30 lbs.
  • Occasional overtime and weekend work and travel to other locations.
  • Our positions require successfully completing the pre-employment background check and signing a nondisclosure agreement.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Marketing or Advertising preferred or equivalent education and experience.
