Duties

• Lead and supervise housekeeping staff to ensure all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules, checklists, and procedures to optimize efficiency and quality.
• Conduct regular inspections of rooms and facilities, providing feedback and coaching to team members for continuous improvement.
• Oversee floor care activities including carpet cleaning, tile maintenance, and polishing to maintain pristine surfaces throughout the property.
• Manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment, ensuring timely replenishment and proper maintenance.
• Train new staff on cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and hospitality standards to foster a knowledgeable and motivated team.
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate special cleaning projects or deep-clean initiatives for guest satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper handling of chemicals and sanitation procedures.

Requirements

• Proven experience in housekeeping management within a hotel or hospitality environment.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care methods, janitorial practices, and industrial cleaning processes.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team while maintaining high standards of quality.
• Familiarity with custodial equipment, cleaning supplies, and safety protocols related to hospitality operations.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
• Good communication skills to effectively train staff and coordinate with other departments.
