OTR Class A Driver

Overview
We are seeking a professional Over the Road Class A Truck Driver to join our team. This role involves long-haul transportation across various routes, ensuring the safe and timely delivery of freight. The ideal candidate will have experience with different types of trailers, including dry van, flat bed, drop deck. Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailer trucks across long-distance routes, adhering to all safety and traffic regulations
• Load and unload freight efficiently and safely using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary
• Manage route driving responsibilities, including planning and following optimal delivery paths
• Handle different types of freight, including refrigerated goods, flatbed loads, tankers, and other specialized cargo
• Perform routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure safety standards are met
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records
• Ensure compliance with all federal and state transportation laws and company policies
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and issues

Requirements

• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record
• Experience with manual transmission trucks preferred
• Proven experience operating various trailer types such as refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks
• Delivery driver experience with load & unload responsibilities highly desirable
• Ability to handle route driving efficiently over long distances while maintaining safety standards
• Knowledge of freight handling procedures and equipment operation such as forklifts is a plus
• Strong understanding of trucking regulations and safety protocols
• Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening prior to employment

Job Type: Full-time

Base Pay: $70, $100,800.00 per year
