Position Summary
The Business Development Representative will
- Prospect and engage new clients through cold calls, emails, networking, and in-person meetings.
- Manage a robust sales pipeline and follow up on leads to keep deals moving.
- Understand client marketing goals and craft tailored billboard and OOH advertising strategies.
- Deliver compelling presentations and proposals that win business.
- Negotiate contracts, finalize agreements, and ensure smooth onboarding.
- Maintain and grow existing accounts through renewals and upselling opportunities.
- Collaborate with designers and operations to ensure campaigns look great and run flawlessly.
- Stay ahead of market trends and industry best practices to position our solutions competitively.
- Perform similar or related duties as required or assigned.
Requirements
Required Education and Experience
- High school diploma (or equivalent) is required.
- Two years in sales or business development, or related experience preferred.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Intermediate knowledge and skill of:
- Microsoft Windows environment
- Internet browsers
- Outlook
- Microsoft Excel
Additional qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Customer service orientation with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Ability to handle multiple projects at once and meet tight deadlines under pressure.
- Ability to manage a heavy inbox workload efficiently.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team and to follow instructions.
- Willingness to travel long distances via automobile.
- Understanding of basic media planning terminology and concepts is a plus.
- Knowledge of Out of Home Dictionary or willingness to learn is a plus.
