Lead Structural Estimator

Location: Onsite

Relocation package for candidates who qualify.

This role requires an experienced Lead Structural Estimator to oversee cost assessments, project takeoffs, and bid preparation for structural steel projects.

Primary Duties:

• Produce accurate takeoffs for structural steel components
• Review engineering drawings, plans, and specifications
• Assess vendor and subcontractor quotes for scope alignment
• Prepare detailed cost breakdowns and estimate packages
• Identify material, labor, and project requirements
• Provide support and guidance to junior estimators

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of structural steel estimating experience
• Strong understanding of steel fabrication and construction processes
• Skilled with digital plan review tools (e.g., Bluebeam)
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and contract documents
• Must show a steady, reliable work history
• Degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
