Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Human Resources Manager to lead our HR initiatives and support organizational growth. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in human capital management, strong background in recruiting, employee relations, and talent management, with a strong understanding of employment law and compliance standards such as FMLA and OSHA. This role requires a proactive leader capable of managing HR operations, developing HR strategies, and fostering a positive workplace culture across all levels of the organization.
Duties
- Develop and implement HR policies aligned with organizational goals, ensuring compliance with employment & labor law, OSHA, and other regulatory requirements.
- Oversee talent acquisition processes including sourcing, interviewing, onboarding, and employee orientation to attract top talent.
- Manage performance management systems, employee evaluations, and succession planning to support employee development and organizational stability.
- Administer benefits programs, payroll systems (such as Workday, ADP, Paychex), and workers' compensation claims while ensuring accurate data collection and reporting.
- Lead training & development initiatives to enhance employee skills and promote continuous improvement through program management and process enhancement.
- Handle employee relations issues, conflict management, and disciplinary actions with professionalism and confidentiality.
- Supervise HR sourcing activities utilizing ATS platforms like Taleo or iCIMS; oversee HRIS systems such as SAP SuccessFactors or Oracle HCM for data analysis and reporting.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on organizational design, strategic planning, change management, and HR project execution.
- Ensure compliance with contracts, labor laws, OSHA standards, and manage HR-related documentation including contracts and policies.
Requirements
- Proven experience in human resources management with a minimum of 5 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Extensive knowledge of employment & labor law, FMLA, workers' compensation, OSHA regulations, and benefits administration.
- Strong negotiation skills coupled with excellent communication skills for effective employee relations and stakeholder engagement.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems such as Workday, UltiPro, Kronos, Paylocity, or similar platforms; experience with SAP SuccessFactors or Oracle HCM is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability in talent acquisition strategies including sourcing (HR sourcing), interviewing (including behavioral interview techniques), onboarding, and succession planning.
- Skilled in performance management processes, training & development programs, conflict resolution, and organizational design.
- Data analysis skills for HR metrics reporting; capable of utilizing tools like data collection software for strategic decision-making.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related field; advanced certifications such as SHRM-SCP or SPHR are advantageous.
