G&E Partners are exclusively seeking a General Civil & Site Development Superintendent to lead high-profile Projects in Georgia. This role involves directing the project through all phases of construction from Pre-construction to completion. This is a dynamic leadership position, offering direct growth to Senior level leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Oversight:
Lead daily on-site activities for site development projects, including earthwork, grading, foundation preparation, roadway and utility installation, drainage systems, landscaping, and site infrastructure improvements. - Strategic Planning:
Develop and execute short-term and long-term construction plans, coordinate site logistics, phasing, excavation operations, environmental and erosion controls, ensuring all work is sequenced efficiently to support schedule commitments. - Workforce Management:
Lead and manage multiple site crews, subcontractors, equipment allocations, and labor resources to maintain high productivity, effective utilization, and adherence to project milestones. - Collaborative Execution:
Work closely with project managers, engineers, survey teams, and field personnel to build detailed work plans, coordinate technical solutions, and resolve on-site problems quickly and effectively. - Quality & Safety Assurance:
Champion a strong safety culture and ensure strict adherence to project specifications, company standards, and regulatory requirements, maintaining exceptional quality and compliance across all phases of construction. - Client & Stakeholder Interface:
Act as the key on-site representative for clients, inspectors, utility companies, regulatory agencies, and internal leadership maintaining transparent communication, professionalism, and collaborative relationships.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in site development, heavy civil, or infrastructure construction, with demonstrated leadership in large field operations.
- Proven ability to manage both self-perform crews and subcontractors on technically complex, schedule-driven projects.
- Strong skills in project scheduling, equipment and fleet logistics, production tracking, and cost control.
- Experience delivering major site development or public/private infrastructure projects with high visibility and strict compliance expectations is strongly valued.
- Must be willing to travel out of state.
