Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a spotless environment.
• Maintain cleanliness of all public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and recreational spaces by sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting.
• Care for floors by sweeping, mopping, buffing, and applying appropriate floor finishes to preserve their appearance and safety.
• Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, linens, and amenities to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Follow established protocols for waste disposal and linen handling to promote hygiene and sustainability.
• Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure timely repairs and uphold safety standards.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations by using cleaning chemicals safely and maintaining a clean work environment.
• Assist with inventory management by tracking cleaning supplies and equipment usage.
• Support housekeeping management in training new team members and maintaining operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles within hospitality or industrial settings is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with hotel housekeeping procedures or custodial experience enhances your ability to excel in this role.
• Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, sealing, and waxing is preferred.
• Strong understanding of hospitality standards with a focus on guest comfort and cleanliness.
• Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as vacuums, carpet cleaners, buffers, and floor scrubbers safely and effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to identifying areas needing attention.
• Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items safely, and perform repetitive tasks efficiently.
• Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and report issues clearly.
