Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
• Assist with menu planning and ingredient preparation for daily service
• Ensure all food handling and safety protocols are strictly followed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen equipment
• Support food presentation to meet quality expectations
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations
• Assist in catering events or special meal preparations as needed
• Serve dishes promptly and professionally during service hours
• Follow all health regulations and safety guidelines at all times

Experience

• Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service is highly preferred
• Experience in fine dining or restaurant kitchens is advantageous
• Knowledge of dietary department procedures or dietary aide experience is a plus
• Familiarity with menu planning, food handling, and food safety standards is desirable
• Strong knife skills and meal preparation expertise required
• Background in the food industry, culinary arts, or catering will be beneficial
• Excellent teamwork, communication skills, and ability to work efficiently under pressure are essential
