Slaughterhouse Delivery Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. That is licensed and hardworking. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting meat carcasses and goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. The ideal candidate will possess excellent driving skills, a strong commitment to customer service, and the ability to navigate efficiently through designated routes. Must be a US citizen with valid license and good driving record

Responsibilities

• Operate delivery vehicles, including vans and box trucks, to transport goods to customers.
• Follow designated routes and schedules for timely deliveries.
• Load and unload products using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts when necessary.
• Ensure the accuracy of deliveries by verifying items against shipping documents.
• Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with clients at delivery locations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle.
• Report any vehicle maintenance needs or safety concerns promptly.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Experience in route driving or as a delivery driver is preferred.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks (certification may be required).
• Must be able to lift heavy packages and stand for extended periods.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
