Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets using SQL, R, Python, and other data analysis tools to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities.
• Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports with Tableau, Power BI, Looker, and other visualization platforms to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
• Collaborate within Agile project teams to deliver timely insights aligned with project goals while adhering to the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes.
• Conduct business analysis by understanding operational needs and translating them into technical requirements for database design and data integration workflows.
• Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines using Talend, Bash scripts, VBA macros, or other tools to ensure accurate data flow across systems such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and other databases.
• Support database design initiatives by optimizing schema structures for performance and scalability while ensuring data integrity.
• Utilize Looker and Power BI for advanced data visualization projects that enable stakeholders to make informed decisions quickly.
• Engage in project management activities by tracking progress, managing timelines, and coordinating cross-functional teams to meet deliverables efficiently.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of data models, processes, and analysis procedures using tools like Visio for clarity and future reference.
• Stay current with industry best practices in analytics, database management, and emerging technologies such as linked data concepts to continuously enhance analytical capabilities.

Requirements

• Proven experience in data analysis with strong proficiency in SQL programming for querying relational databases like Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server.
• Hands-on experience with visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker is essential for creating impactful dashboards.
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and project management principles to facilitate collaborative project execution.
• Familiarity with SDLC processes for developing reliable software solutions aligned with organizational standards.
• Technical skills in R and Python for statistical analysis and automation of data workflows.
• Experience designing ETL processes using Talend or similar tools to ensure seamless data integration from diverse sources.
• Knowledge of database design principles to optimize schema structures for performance efficiency.
• Ability to perform comprehensive business analysis by interpreting operational requirements into technical solutions.
• Familiarity with VBA macros, Bash scripting (Unix shell), Visio diagramming tools, and linked data concepts enhances analytical versatility.
