We are seeking a dynamic and experienced
- Vitamin / Supplement / Fitness - Assistant Sales Manager
to join our retail team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong leadership, management, and sales skills to contribute to the growth and success of our store. The Assistant Sales Manager will support store operations, lead sales initiatives, and ensure exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, organizational abilities, and a proven track record in retail management. This position is full-time and provides valuable experience in team management, merchandising, and sales strategies.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Lead and motivate sales staff to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service.
- Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, and merchandising to optimize product presentation.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Supervise staff scheduling, training, and development to foster a high-performing team.
- Oversee POS transactions, cash handling, and cashiering duties with accuracy and integrity.
- Support marketing initiatives, promotional displays, and pricing strategies to increase store traffic.
- Conduct employee interviews, participate in recruiting efforts, and assist with onboarding new team members.
- Maintain organizational records including payroll, bookkeeping, and inventory management documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and store procedures.
Skills
- Mandatory drivers license
- Experience in Fitness / Vitamins / Health related Sales
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases
- JUICEBAR EXPERIENCE IS A PLUS
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities with prior assistant manager or supervisory experience.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in retail math, POS systems, cash handling, and inventory control.
- Experience in merchandising, marketing, purchasing, and stock management.
- Skilled in employee orientation, training & development, interviewing, and recruiting processes.
- Organizational skills with attention to detail in bookkeeping, payroll processing, and administrative tasks.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively through time management and strategic planning.
- Knowledge of retail sales techniques including pricing strategies and store management best practices.
- Familiarity with wireless sales or grocery store operations is advantageous but not required. This role offers an engaging environment for motivated individuals eager to develop their leadership skills while contributing to a thriving retail operation.
