Developer Job Description: PPC Tooling & Google AI Studio Acceleration

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Developer to join our team and accelerate the development of our in-house, proprietary Vibe-Code projects. These projects are focused on creating innovative tools and automation solutions to enhance the performance and efficiency of our PPC agency operations.

This role critically requires a developer who is proficient in utilizing Google AI Studio and related technologies as a core part of their development workflow to rapidly prototype, accelerate creation, and efficiently deploy solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accelerated Development & AI Integration: The developer is expected to leverage Google AI Studio and its Generative AI models (like Gemini) in their development process to significantly speed up the creation of tools. This includes using AI for:
  • Generating, reviewing, and refining code snippets.
  • Rapidly prototyping new tool features and integration points.
  • Building core tool functionalities such as automated ad copy generation, performance insights extraction, and keyword clustering.
  • Google API Integration (Core Focus): Design and implement robust integrations utilizing key Google APIs to automate reporting, data manipulation, and asset creation. Specific focus will be on the Google Ads API, Google Sheets API, Google Docs API, and Google Slides API.
  • Tool Development: Design, develop, test, and deploy robust, scalable, and efficient internal tools and applications using modern programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript/TypeScript).
  • Data Handling: Design and implement efficient database structures and data processing pipelines to handle large volumes of PPC performance data.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Google API Proficiency (Essential): Strong, demonstrable experience working with and integrating the Google Ads API for campaign management and data retrieval, as well as the Google Sheets API, Google Docs API, and Google Slides API for automated reporting and document generation.
  • Google AI Studio/Gen AI Proficiency (Core Requirement): Demonstrated experience and comfort using Google AI Studio (or similar platforms/APIs like Vertex AI) as a development accelerator for prompt engineering, model integration, and rapid prototyping.
  • Programming Proficiency: Strong experience in at least one modern, relevant language (e.g., Python, Go, JavaScript/TypeScript).
  • Web Development: Experience with full-stack development, including front-end frameworks (e.g., Python, React, ), back-end services and API skills.
  • Database Knowledge: Proficiency with relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., Firestore).
  • Version Control: Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.

Preferred Experience (Bonus Points)

  • Prior experience working with PPC (Pay-Per-Click) marketing campaigns or in an agency environment.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, especially Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services (e.g., Cloud Functions, App Engine, BigQuery).
  • Experience building CLI tools or internal dashboards.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $9.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
