Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Service Technician who is able to travel up to 75% of the time. In this role, you will be responsible for providing on-site support and maintenance for our equipment and systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently. You will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction through timely service and effective communication.

Duties

· Professional service and installation of CNC Router Machines.

· Trains customers on CNC Router Machines operation.

· Resolves product and service related concerns.

· Provides customer telephone and online support.

· Conducts on-site service calls.

· Provides guidance and support to customers.

· Works with engineers on product development and system upgrades.

· Plans and prepares all technical visits.

· Assists with assembly of machines at Production facilities as required.

· Completes Service Reports summarizing the progress of service/installation visits accurately.

· Completes time logs for all on-site customer visits, submits information on-time.

· Calibration and setup of new machines as well as machines in the field.

· Maintains a clean work environment on-site and at Production facilities.

· Represent AXYZ professionally in all respects.

· Other duties as assigned.

Skills / Knowledge / Experience / Education Required-

· Degree or Diploma related to Electrical/Electronic Controls, or related field required.

· Experience with CAD-based design software and/or computer science programs.

· Valid US State Driver's License and US Passport and ability to travel without restriction required.

· Willing to travel up to 75% of work time.

· Experience with high voltages.

· Experience in a technical role preferably troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical systems.

· Experience delivering strong customer service.

· Experience using a multi-meter (or other voltage meters).

· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal are required.

· Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.

· French and/or Spanish language skills considered an asset.

· Ability to make independent decisions and handle difficult workplace situations in a calm manner.

· Excellent organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail.

· Strong problem-solving skills.

· Self-starter.

· Positive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow in a dynamic environment.

· Experience demonstrating a high level of discretion with confidential information.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $36.00 per hour
