Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Nurse Practitioner with experience treating STI/HIV to join our multidisciplinary care team. This position plays a vital role in providing comprehensive healthcare and prevention services to individuals living with HIV and those at increased risk of infection. The ideal candidate is passionate about health equity, committed to community-centered care, and skilled in delivering culturally competent services to diverse populations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide primary clinical care, management, and follow-up for patients living with HIV, including medication management, monitoring of lab values, and treatment plan development.
  • Offer sexual health and STI prevention services, including PrEP, PEP, testing, screening, and treatment.
  • Conduct patient assessments, health education, and risk-reduction counseling to support prevention and long-term wellness.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including behavioral health, medical case management, outreach, and health education staff.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.
  • Participate in program development, community outreach, and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Current and unrestricted Florida Nurse Practitioner license.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience providing care or prevention services to individuals living with or at risk for HIV.
  • Experience with PrEP and PEP prescribing, adult and adolescent HIV treatment guidelines, and STI management e.g., Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, HPV, Herpes, Syphilis and Hepatitis C.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work compassionately with diverse populations, including LGBTQ+, substance usings, unhoused persons communities and other individuals facing health disparities.
  • Familiarity with trauma-informed, harm-reduction, and patient-centered care approaches preferred.

Preferred Skills

  • Bilingual or multilingual abilities.
  • Experience working in community health or public health settings.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record systems.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $110, $125,000.00 per year
