ROLE OVERVIEW

The Associate Product Manager is an early-career product practitioner responsible for the day-to-day planning and execution of design and engineering delivery teams. Working under the guidance of a more experienced Product Manager, the Associate Product Manager is focused on establishing clear requirements, managing on-track sprint delivery, and providing project updates to client product leadership.

This role is ideal for someone with 1–2 years of product experience—through internships, school programs, or early professional roles—who wants hands-on exposure to real product teams and real delivery.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Participate in every aspect of the product development lifecycle

• Drive daily sprint execution and ensure backlog readiness

• Write clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria

• Support sprint ceremonies including standups, planning, grooming, and retrospectives

• Partner with UX/UI designers to clarify flows, requirements, and intent

• Collaborate with engineering to answer questions and remove blockers

• Track sprint progress, risks, and dependencies

• Maintain strong Jira hygiene and accurate reporting

• Learn product discovery, prioritization, and measurement through hands-on work

WHAT YOU BRING

• 1–2 years of product-related experience (internships, apprenticeships, coursework, or entry-level roles)

• Understanding of agile and sprint-based delivery

• Familiarity with Jira and backlog management concepts

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Attention to detail and organizational discipline

• Curiosity, accountability, and a bias toward action

A note on location requirements: Thresh is a digital consulting firm with offices and clients in multiple locations around the country. Your role will be hybrid requiring some in-person work at client locations. Primary locations are the New York/Tri-State Area, Chicago and Denver.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80, $138,000.00 per year
