Line Cook

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, excellent knife skills, and experience in fine dining or restaurant settings. This role involves preparing high-quality dishes, ensuring food safety standards are met, and contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests. The Line Cook will work closely with kitchen staff to deliver delicious meals efficiently and consistently.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
• Assist in menu planning and ingredient preparation for daily service
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen areas
• Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures at all times
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Support catering events and special functions as needed
• Serve dishes promptly and professionally to ensure customer satisfaction
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations

Requirements

• Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant settings, preferably with fine dining or culinary background
• Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
• Experience with menu planning, food service, and catering is a plus
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation
• Dietary department or dietary aide experience is advantageous but not required
• Prior kitchen experience in the food industry is preferred
