A Caring Heart Case Management is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide personalized support to an individual with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). In this role, you'll help promote independence, enhance daily living skills, and make a positive difference in someone's life—one shift at a time.
Schedule:
- Afternoon shift options available, such as 2–5 PM and 3–6 PM.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and assistance with daily activities
- Support community involvement and skill building
- Maintain a safe, supportive environment
- Communicate effectively with the care team and family
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with at least 3 years of driving experience
- Compassion, patience, and reliability
- Previous experience with IDD population preferred, but not required (training provided)

About Our Company (A Caring Heart Case Management, Inc):
- Our company provides direct care services to individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.
- We provide a variety of different services including day programs, group homes, community services, and more
- Our direct care staff provides habilitative services aimed at providing care and guidance to our clients to help them learn, retain, and improve their skills
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a day program setting.
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and mobility.
- Observe and document patient behavior and progress, ensuring safety and well-being.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members to foster a supportive atmosphere.
- Drive clients to community activities as needed, ensuring their comfort and safety.
