About this position:
Are you a licensed therapist passionate about helping youth build healthy coping skills and emotional resilience? Join our Outpatient team as a Youth Outpatient Specialist and provide meaningful, skills-focused therapy in a supportive, collaborative environment.
You'll work with clients ages we prefer therapists comfortable seeing youth as young as 10, but focusing on older teens is also welcome). Sessions include both individual and group therapy, supporting emotional regulation, communication, and self-awareness.
This full-time role offers strong clinical support, supervision, and opportunities for professional growth. If you're compassionate, motivated, and eager to make an impact, we'd love to connect with you.
What you will do:
· Facilitate 90-minute group therapy sessions with the youth population within Sanare's Outpatient Program — one in person and one virtual each week (flexible days/times).
· Provide individual outpatient sessions for clients stepping down from our Turning Point Program (IOP) or those in need of short-term gap care while awaiting IOP placement.
· Minimum caseload of 15 clients per week, roster 15-20.
· Provide availability for afternoons and evenings Monday-Thursday.
· Complete consultations for individuals recommended to individual therapy.
· Collaborate with team members and members in the community to offer best care practices to clients.
· Maintain timely documentation and up-to-date authorizations.
· Participate in bi-weekly supervision groups with colleagues.
What you're good at:
· At least 1 year experience working with kids ages 9-18 and families.
· Strong ability to build rapport with young clients and support emotional and behavioral growth.
· Familiarity with evidence-based treatment approaches for children and teens (CBT, ACT, play therapy, etc.).
· Working knowledge of treatment planning, progress notes, and related documentation.
· Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
· Active mental health license (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent).
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $60, $85,000.00 per year
