Duties

• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, and refrigeration equipment.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design documents to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions.
• Conduct equipment repair using various tools such as welders and ohmmeters; perform mechanical repairs as needed.
• Install new HVAC components or systems in accordance with safety standards and specifications.
• Maintain property by addressing plumbing issues related to HVAC systems or associated infrastructure.
• Repair appliances and ensure all equipment operates efficiently; assist with field service tasks across multiple sites.
• Conduct ammonia refrigeration maintenance when applicable; ensure compliance with safety protocols related to refrigerants.
• Use diagnostic tools to identify electrical or mechanical faults; perform necessary welding or mechanical work for repairs.
• Maintain detailed service records and report on system performance; assist in preventative maintenance planning.

Skills

• Proven experience as a service technician within the HVAC or property maintenance fields. Experience 2 years
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and HVAC design documents.
• Experience with refrigeration systems, ammonia refrigeration, boilers, and air conditioning units.
• Skilled in plumbing, appliance repair, equipment repair, welding, and general maintenance tasks.
• Familiarity with electrical testing tools such as ohmmeters; ability to interpret electrical schematics.
• Knowledge of construction principles relevant to HVAC installation projects.
• Field service experience working independently across multiple locations; excellent problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience driving commercial or specialized vehicles preferred. This position requires a dedicated professional capable of handling diverse technical challenges while maintaining high standards of safety and quality in all tasks performed.

Pay: $ $48.07 per hour
