Summary
NP Environmental an established and successful sustainable HVAC company looking Project Manager. This role will be a major contribution to NP Environmental' s operations by providing on-site direction in ground-up projects. This on-site role demands a results-driven and seasoned professional with experience in Residential & Commercial HVAC / Project Management, particularly in overseeing drilling operations, managing subcontractors, and ensuring project safety, budgets, and timelines are met. Must have a willingness to travel to job sites and have basic tools. Our company is rapidly expanding and will provide many opportunities for advancement.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Coordinate job kickoff, materials procurement, permits, inspections, and closeouts. 2. Enforce and enhance safety protocols, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Maintain project timelines and proactively resolve schedule conflicts or delays
Maintain & Manage material flow on the job site and proactively resolve any conflicts or delays
Manage project budgets, schedules, and timelines to ensure successful project completion.6. Engage from project reimplementation through mobilization to project completion.7. Handle technician scheduling, daily task delegation, and on-site supervision. 8. Demonstrate proficiency in contract management, understanding how each component fits into the larger construction puzzle.9. Participate actively in meetings discussing submittals, shop drawings, and project-related matters.
Track job costs against budgets; flag variances and implement corrective actions.
Monitor labor hours, subcontractor expenses, and material usage.
Support hiring, onboarding, training, and development of field staff.
Serve as the main point of contact for technician HR concerns (attendance, reviews, conflict resolution).
Identify and implement improvements to job workflow, inventory control, and quality assurance.
Collaborate with procurement, admin, and executive teams to align operations with company goals.
Act as the liaison between technicians, sales engineers, customers, and management.
Ensure a smooth customer experience from start to finish.
Maintain an up-to-date understanding of the staffing needs based relevant business inputs
Act as the primary liaison between the field crew and internal departments such as logistics, procurement, and scheduling.

General Requirements:
3-5 years of hands-on experience in HVAC project management.
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field.
Own reliable vehicle and valid driver's license.
Ability to travel to various locations as required by the job.
CPM preferred.
HVAC / Renewable construction experience strongly preferred.
Must have SST card.
Proven experience in managing commercial construction projects.
Strong understanding of safety regulations, budgeting, scheduling, and contract management.
Commercial mechanical systems and foundation/early construction management experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Capable of standing for an extended period
Ability to lift 90 pounds, walk on uneven surfaces, sit or stand for long periods of time, work in confined spaces or from heights on occasion.
Ability to sit for extended periods
Physically capable of climbing stairs, bending, twisting, kneeling, crouching or crawling
Able to use hands and arms to grasp, push, pull, reach with hands and arms, or lift above shoulder level
Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus
Ability to work in high and low temperatures outside, and sometimes work in conditions where noise levels are moderate to loud.
Travel Requirements:
- Travel Required up to 85% within Central NY.
Compensation : $70,000-$100,000 per annum (Based on skills and experience)
