CDL Driver

Walkersville, MD | Day Shift | Local DMV Routes

Miscellaneous Metals, Inc. is seeking a reliable CDL Class A Driver to support local material deliveries to job sites across MD, DC, and Northern VA. This is a home-daily, safety-focused role supporting steel fabrication and construction projects.

• Operate a Class A commercial vehicle (47'–55' trailers) on local routes

• Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections

• Secure and unload materials safely at job sites

• Complete required DOT logs and delivery documentation

• Communicate with dispatch, supervisors, and jobsite personnel

• Represent the company professionally with customers and vendors

• Valid CDL Class A license

• 1+ year of commercial driving experience

• Clean MVR (no major violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years)

• Ability to drive a manual transmission

• Non-excepted interstate DOT medical card (or ability to obtain)

• Strong safety mindset, reliability, and time management

• Must pass background check and drug screening

• Local routes – home daily

Additional Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years old due to interstate driving requirements.
• Ability to meet FMCSA drug and alcohol testing requirements, including pre-employment, random, and post-accident testing.
• Maintain a valid DOT medical card throughout employment.
