Overview of the Role

The Call Center Sales Representative is responsible for high‑quality outbound calling, discovery, and appointment setting within B2B financial services and insurance markets. You will represent The PT Services Group and our clients with professionalism, clearly articulate value, and consistently meet or exceed activity and conversion targets. Success in this role is measured by call quality, pipeline contribution, and scheduled appointments with decision makers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Make high‑volume, professional outbound calls to targeted prospects; open conversations, build rapport, and quickly establish credibility.
  • Clearly and accurately communicate the value of our services while tailoring the message to different decision‑maker personas.
  • Qualify prospects by identifying needs, business priorities, and alignment to campaign criteria; schedule high‑quality appointments.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of calls, outcomes, and next steps in CRM; manage follow‑ups to advance interest.
  • Analyze customer needs and objections to refine messaging; share insights and patterns with the team to improve campaign performance.
  • Consistently achieve daily/weekly activity benchmarks (calls, connects, scheduled appointments) and conversion KPIs.
  • Collaborate closely with teammates and leadership to optimize outreach strategy, scripts, and targeting.
  • Uphold brand standards and compliance requirements in all communications.

Required Qualifications

  • 1+ year of experience in customer service, call center, inside sales, or appointment setting (B2B preferred).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; confident phone presence with active listening and objection‑handling ability.
  • Detail‑oriented with strong data entry and CRM hygiene; capable of managing call notes, follow‑ups, and schedules with precision.
  • Results‑driven mindset with the resilience to handle high‑volume outreach and a consistent call cadence.
  • Reliable, punctual, and accountable; comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills

  • Prior experience in sales development, lead generation, or B2B appointment setting.
  • Familiarity with financial services and/or insurance industry terminology and decision‑maker roles.
  • Proficiency with CRM and dialing tools; ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding performance targets in a quota‑carrying environment.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and a growth mindset—eager to test, learn, and iterate.

Compensation and Schedule

  • Pay: $17.00–$20.00 per hour
  • Compensation Plan: $17/hour + uncapped commission for the first 60 days, then $20/hour + uncapped commission
  • Job Type: Full‑time
  • Schedule: Day shift; hybrid schedule available after 2 weeks of in‑house training
