CALSEC Protective Services is expanding our team and seeking highly professional, client-facing Security Officers. These roles require exceptional appearance, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments where customer service and vigilance are equally important.

Note: This is not a laid back or casual security role.

Requirements: Valid BSIS Guard Card
Responsibilities include:

• Conduct routine patrols and security checks
• Monitor CCTV systems and basic computer/messaging platforms
• Professional communication over dispatch-monitored radios
• Deliver excellent customer service to clients & visitors
• Respond to incidents and escalate when appropriate
• Conduct employee screenings as assigned
• Maintain a clean, well-groomed, uniformed appearance
• Complete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate logs

Armed Security Professional

Requirements: BSIS Guard Card and Exposed Firearm Permit
Responsibilities include:

• Conduct armed patrols of client properties
• Respond to incidents in armed or unarmed capacities
• Maintain a strong professional presence at all times
• Coordinate with local law enforcement when necessary
• Monitor CCTV and computer-based platforms
• Communicate clearly over two-way radios
• Conduct employee screenings as needed
• Maintain impeccable professional appearance
• Complete accurate incident reports and documentation

General Qualifications (All Positions)

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid BSIS licensing
• Prior security or military/law-enforcement experience preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and flexible schedules
• Professional appearance and demeanor at all times

Expected hours: 16.0 – 40.0 per week
