Software Engineering Manager: Capital Markets Platform

This role isn't for someone looking to manage the team tweaking dashboards or polishing UI flows.

Capital markets platform team is standing up foundational tech for capital origination, syndication, and co-investments. They need someone who's built cloud-native systems, understands how data flows in a high-stakes environment, and can lead from the front.

You're not walking into a polished product org. You're building it. Think deal pipelines, capital markets tooling, and CRM integration. Not in theory, but in production. The tech stack leans heavily on Python with some React and Java in the mix. The environment is complex, and the bar is high.

What You'll Own

• Full lifecycle delivery; design, build, deploy internal tools that directly support deal teams
• Architecture and execution for the modern deal pipeline management platform
• Integration of CRM and capital markets data into a new platform for opportunity tracking, reporting, and syndication support
• Leadership of design reviews, QA, stakeholder alignment, and delivery
• Mentorship of engineers while establishing a strong engineering culture

What You'll Need

• 15+ years hands-on software experience, including time leading cloud-native teams
• Strength in Python and fluency in either OOP (Java, C++) or data-oriented scripting (SQL)
• Experience building distributed systems on AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Microservices, REST APIs, and messaging tools like Kafka
• Familiarity with DevOps workflows (CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes)

What Helps You Stand Out

• Background in capital markets, syndication workflows, or investment tech
• Experience integrating or building on CRM or pipeline management platforms
• Exposure to Azure data services, APIs, and enterprise architecture
