The Dental Clinic Manager position is responsible for providing management and oversight for the daily operations of our three dental clinics and dental teams. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Is responsible for the daily supervisory operations of the Beverly Blvd Clinic where all Dental Assistants and Registered Dental Assistants will report into this position.
    1. Ensures Dental Care Teams are established specifically at the Beverly Blvd Clinic and that DAs conduct visit preps and present at daily morning huddles, and that DAs follow-up with no-shows and cancellations
  • Works alongside Dental Supervisors in managing any patient queries and complaints
  • Monitors appointment schedules at all sites for timely access to care, to minimize wait time, and maximize chair capacity
  • Ensures that Patient Navigator closes referrals and schedules patients with unscheduled treatment plans and periodic oral exams at all sites
  • Coordinates with Dental Front Office Staff at the Beverly Blvd Clinic to conduct appointment confirmation and assign established patients to current dentists
  • Helps to motivate, guide, and encourage dental team to achieve operational and professional goals
  • Continually assesses staffing needs; manages staffing schedules at all sites monthly to ensure efficiency and smooth clinic workflow
  • Works with Dental Supervisors to coordinate and approve time-off as necessary

Position Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years-experience managing a dental practice or commensurate office management experience in another field is REQUIRED.
  • Some college study or college degree preferred
  • Bilingual Spanish preferred
  • Experience with supervising, training, and evaluating staff's performance required
  • Experience in measuring and optimizing customer service; handling patient complaints preferred
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Capability of multi-tasking and establishing priorities
  • Competent with common PC applications including Internet, Email, and Microsoft Office
