The Territory Sales Representative (TSR) will drive new customer acquisition and revenue growth for a rapidly expanding services company providing innovative waste management solutions to industrial, distribution, manufacturing, and logistics customers. This individual will manage the full sales cycle—from prospecting and outreach through onsite presentations, proposals, and closing—serving as the primary face of the company within their assigned market.
Reporting to the National Sales Manager, the TSR will focus on developing new business relationships, executing territory plans, and delivering measurable results in a fast-growing, performance-oriented organization. Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new commercial opportunities through cold calling, in-person visits, networking, and referrals.
- Conduct onsite presentations and demonstrations to communicate the value of services and secure new contracts.
- Develop and execute territory sales plans to ensure consistent pipeline growth and activity.
- Prepare and deliver tailored proposals, manage negotiations, and close business to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Partner with operations and service teams to ensure a seamless handoff from sale to implementation.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activity, pipeline status, and results within the CRM system.
- Monitor local market dynamics and competitor activity to inform strategy and positioning.
- Represent the company professionally in customer and industry interactions.
Qualifications
- 2-5 years of outside or field sales experience, preferably in B2B or service-based industries.
- Demonstrated ability to prospect, manage a sales pipeline, and close new business.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strong organizational, time management, and follow-up abilities.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic, accountability, and drive for results.
- Experience with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot or similar).
- Background in industrial, logistics, or environmental services is a plus.
- Must hold a valid driver's license and be willing to travel locally within the assigned territory.
