FedEx Ground Package Delivery Driver

TRED Corporation is dedicated to providing an exceptional customer service experience as well as on-time delivery for the areas we service. We currently have an immediate job opening for the right candidate in the Spring Valley, NY area. We are looking for a responsible Delivery Driver to distribute products promptly to our customers. You will represent our company in a professional and cost-effective manner to increase our profitability and customer satisfaction on a daily basis.

Pre-Employment Screening

• Must pass a mandatory background check
• Must pass a mandatory drug test before employment is determined

Responsibilities

• Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes
• Follow routes and time schedule
• Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle
• Ask for feedback on provided services and resolve clients' complaints
• Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
• Ensures all packages assigned to the route have been delivered before finishing the shift unless otherwise instructed by the station manager.
• Maintain a safe work environment
• Be able to safely lift and handle packages weighing up to 150lbs - Hand-truck is provided

Skills

• 3 years of relevant working experience driving a commercial motor vehicle
• Valid Class D or above driver's license
• Ability to operate sprinter vans and/or box trucks in a variety of weather and traffic conditions
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Good driving record with no traffic violations in the past 5 years
• Must be able to pull, push or carry packages that weigh a minimum of 50lbs. All trucks are equipped with hand trucks to aid the personnel when handling larger packages
• High school degree (preferred )
