We're looking for a Chief Enterprise Architect who can see the big picture, connect business priorities to technical strategy, and build the architecture that will scale our future. This role shapes how we design, integrate, secure, and evolve our core platforms, while developing the architects and technical leaders who make it real.

What You'll Lead

• The enterprise architecture vision, roadmap, and governance framework
• A team of Systems Architects, including mentorship, career growth, and alignment to strategy
• Architectural decision-making across eCommerce, integrations, cloud, and data platforms
• Cross-functional partnership with Product, Engineering, Infrastructure, Security, and Executive leadership
• The modernization of legacy systems into scalable, composable, API-first and event-driven platforms

• A clear architectural direction and roadmap understood across business and technical teams
• Modernization milestones delivered across cloud infrastructure, integrations, and application platforms
• Strong alignment between product strategy, engineering execution, and enterprise architecture standards
• A visible improvement in platform scalability, performance, resiliency, and data fluidity
• A high-performing Systems Architecture team with a shared architectural philosophy and clear ownership

Platform & Technology Landscape
We are evolving from legacy systems toward a modular, cloud-based, API-first, event-driven ecosystem. Our environment spans:

Core Platforms:
eCommerce, Salesforce, Oracle ERP, CommerceTools, custom applications

Cloud:
Azure (preferred background), AWS also in use for select components

Data & Integration:
Real-time data flows, event streaming, integration middleware, Customer 360 initiatives

Engineering Practices:
DevOps, CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, observability and performance monitoring

You will shape how these platforms interact, scale, and evolve.

Requirements
What We're Looking For

• 12+ years in enterprise architecture, solution design, or senior technical leadership
• Experience leading architecture in complex enterprise environments (eCommerce ideal)
• Proven success guiding organizational-scale modernization or cloud transformation
• Strong architectural experience across APIs, cloud platforms, event-driven design, and data architecture
• Ability to lead through influence, coach technical talent, and communicate effectively across audiences

Compensation And Benefits
The anticipated salary range for this position starts at $195,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. This role is eligible for performance-based bonus based on individual and company performance.

Pampered Chef currently follows a hybrid schedule at the headquartered office in Addison, IL. The expectation is for employees to be in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday every week.
