About the Role

MegaminxX is seeking a senior
Azure Solution Architect
with deep expertise in Azure data engineering and analytics. This role requires hands-on architecture experience across modern Azure data platforms—including
Microsoft Fabric
, Data Factory, Synapse, Purview, and lakehouse patterns—and the ability to design, assess, and guide end-to-end data modernization initiatives.

You will support pre-sales, technical assessments, solution architecture, and delivery oversight, with the ability to work confidently with both technical teams and executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Architecture & Solution Design

  • Architect end-to-end data and analytics solutions on
    Microsoft Fabric
    and the broader
    Azure ecosystem
    (Data Factory, Data Lake, Synapse, Purview, SQL, Power BI).
  • Define
    architecture blueprints
    , modernization roadmaps, and best-practice design patterns.
  • Conduct technical assessments for data platform modernization, BI modernization, and AI readiness.
  • Lead design for Lakehouse-based data engineering, ingestion, transformation, and modeling workflows.
  • Provide architectural guidance during pre-sales and ensure smooth transition into delivery teams.

Pre-Sales & Executive Interaction

  • Support pursuit teams with solution approaches, scoping, estimations, and proposals.
  • Present Azure/Fabric-based architectures to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Participate in executive workshops to define modernization vision, requirements, and outcomes.

Thought Leadership & Enablement

  • Stay current with
    Fabric workloads
    (Data Engineering, Data Factory, Data Science, Real-Time Intelligence, Data Warehouse).
  • Evangelize Azure + Fabric best practices internally and externally.
  • Mentor engineers and junior architects on Azure-native architectures.

Collaboration

  • Work closely with delivery leads, sales, and practice leadership.
  • Coordinate with global teams (onshore/offshore) across project cycles.
  • Contribute to internal assets, frameworks, and accelerators related to Azure and Fabric.

Qualifications

Required

  • 8–12+ years in cloud/data/analytics architecture.
  • 4+ years architecting solutions on Azure (Data Lake, Data Factory, Functions, Synapse, ADF pipelines, Purview).
  • Hands-on experience designing or implementing
    Microsoft Fabric workloads
    .
  • Strong understanding of Lakehouse architectures, ETL/ELT pipelines, semantic modeling, and governance.
  • Experience presenting to technical and business stakeholders, including senior leadership.
  • Strong communication skills — capable of translating technical concepts into clear, actionable narratives.
  • Prior experience in consulting, professional services, or client-facing architecture roles.

Preferred

Certifications:

  • Azure Solutions Architect Expert
  • Azure Data Engineer Associate
  • DP-600 or Fabric-related certifications
    (preferred but not mandatory)

Experience with Databricks, Power BI, or hybrid Azure analytics architectures.
